> **Tip:** Image sizes
>
> For full-width images, upload photos at least 2400 px wide; for half-width images, 1600 px. Shopify serves smaller versions to phones automatically. Where a section has a **Mobile image**, use it to give phones a portrait crop.

- [Hero](https://themelab.page/tally/docs/sections/hero.md): The catalog opener – a big headline and short text beside a framed image, with quick links to what shoppers look for most.
- [Image banner](https://themelab.page/tally/docs/sections/image-banner.md): A large photo or video with a heading, text and up to two buttons on top – full width or within the page.
- [Slideshow](https://themelab.page/tally/docs/sections/slideshow.md): Several full-width banners that change on their own or with arrows, swipes and keys, with a slide or fade transition.
- [Video](https://themelab.page/tally/docs/sections/video.md): A video from your files or from YouTube or Vimeo, with a cover image and an optional heading and text.
- [Expanding panels](https://themelab.page/tally/docs/sections/expanding-panels.md): A row of tall image panels; one opens wide with its story while the others wait as slim strips.
- [Lookbook](https://themelab.page/tally/docs/sections/lookbook.md): A horizontal row of large images in mixed shapes that shoppers drag or swipe through, with products on the photos.
- [Floating gallery](https://themelab.page/tally/docs/sections/floating-gallery.md): Up to four photo, product, collection or video cards floating in depth beside your text; each comes forward on hover.
- [Before and after](https://themelab.page/tally/docs/sections/before-and-after.md): Two photos with a handle shoppers drag to compare them – for cleaning, restoration, skincare and makeovers.
- [Marquee](https://themelab.page/tally/docs/sections/marquee.md): A band of large text and small images that glides across the screen, separated by dots, sparkles, slashes or hearts.
- [Countdown](https://themelab.page/tally/docs/sections/countdown.md): A live timer to the end of a sale or a launch, with a button, that changes to your own text when time is up.
