# Apps

> A section that holds app blocks on a row of their own – a reviews widget, an Instagram gallery, a form – with the theme's spacing, width and color schemes around them.

## Set it up

1. Install the app from the Shopify App Store.
2. Add the **Apps** section where the app should appear, then **Add block** and pick the app's block under *Apps*.
3. Choose **Full width** and a **Color scheme**, and adjust the spacing.

## App blocks and app embeds

- **App blocks** go inside sections. Most Tally sections accept them directly – open the section and choose **Add block**. Use the Apps section when the block needs a row of its own.
- **App embeds** – chat widgets, reviews badges, tracking – are turned on in **Theme settings › App embeds** and float over the whole store.
