# Blog

> The page that lists the posts of a blog, with the newest post shown large, a tag filter and post cards in three styles.

## Options

- **Show heading** with its own size and alignment, and an introduction **Text**.
- **Posts per page:** 3–24. **Columns on desktop:** 1–4.
- **Show the newest post large:** the latest post across the top, as a feature.
- **Show tag filter:** chips for the tags on your posts, so readers can filter by topic.
- **Post cards:** *Plain*, *Card* or *Title on the image*, with text alignment, heading size, image ratio and image shape (*Rounded*, *Arch* or *Square*).
- **Show date**, **Show author** and **Show excerpt**.
- **Hover effect:** *Zoom and lift*, *Zoom the image*, *Lift the tile*, *Darken the image* or *None*.

Write an excerpt for each post in the post editor in Shopify admin; without one, the first words of the post are used.
