# Contact form

> A contact form beside the other ways to reach you – email, phone, chat, address, opening hours and Instagram. Messages go to your store's email address.

## Set it up

1. Write the **Heading** and **Text** – when you reply and what to include.
2. Choose which fields to show: **Show phone field** and **Show order number field**. Name, email and message are always there.
3. Add **Contact channel** blocks for your other channels: pick an **Icon** (email, phone, chat, location, opening hours, Instagram), a **Title**, a **Text** and a **Link**.

## Where messages go

Messages are sent to the sender email in **Settings › General**. Shopify protects the form against spam, and may show a captcha to some visitors.

## Layout

**Layout:** *Text left, form right*, or *Stacked*. The Contact page template places a FAQ under the form, so common questions get answered before they are asked.
