# Newsletter

> A signup form for your newsletter, centered or beside the text, plain or on a soft card with an image. Subscribers join your customer list in Shopify.

## Set it up

1. Write the **Heading** and **Text** – what subscribers get and how often.
2. Set the **Email placeholder** and the **Button label**.
3. Add **Small print**, for example a link to your privacy policy.

## Options

- **Layout:** *Centered* or *Text left, form right*.
- **Style:** *Plain*, or a *Card* in its own **Card color scheme** (the soft band by default), with an optional **Image**.

## Where subscribers go

Subscribers are added to your customer list in Shopify with the *newsletter* tag and email marketing consent, ready for Shopify Email or any email app connected to your store. After subscribing, shoppers see a short thank-you message in place of the form.

> Check the consent wording your country requires and put it in **Small print**.
