# Recently viewed

> The products a shopper opened most recently on this device, as a carousel or grid. It helps shoppers find their way back to something they liked.

## How it works

Tally remembers the products a shopper opens, on their own device only – nothing is sent anywhere. The section stays hidden until they have viewed a product, so new visitors never see an empty row. **Show clear history button** lets shoppers clear the list.

It sits on the home page and on the product page in the Tally preset; on the product page it leaves out the product being viewed.

## Options

- **Products to show:** 2–12.
- **Layout:** *Carousel* or *Grid*; 2–6 per row on desktop, 1 or 2 on mobile.
- **Heading** and **Text**, with a smaller default heading size than other sections, so the row feels like a helpful extra.

Shows the products a customer opened most recently on this device. The section stays hidden until they have viewed a product.
