Results
The results work like a collection's Product grid: products per page and per row, the 2/3/4 and list switch, the default view, pagination, filters (from the Search & Discovery app) and sorting.
Show result type links adds All, Products, Articles and Pages under the search field.
Before a search and when nothing is found
With Show popular searches, collections and products on, the page is never empty:
- Popular searches from Theme settings › Search, as chips.
- The Collections you pick.
- A grid of products (Products to show, 4–12) from Products from – or the collection in Theme settings > Search, or all products.
The same suggestions appear under a search with no results, so shoppers always have a next step.
